No. You can enter your gift-card code directly at checkout at the store it was issued for. Claiming it into an account is optional.

After you sign in with a verified Fullcart account, the remaining gift-card balance becomes Fullcart Credit in that account. The original gift-card code can no longer be used.

A gift card has a code you can use at the issuing store. Fullcart Credit is linked to your account and can be spent at participating stores while signed in. Once claimed, the balance cannot be transferred to another account.

No. Spend part of the balance and save the rest for later. If your order costs more than the available balance, pay the difference with another available payment method.
